Organized in 1950, the Fort Lee Regional Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit 501(c)6), non-governmental, partnership of business and professional people dedicated to advancing the economic, civic and cultural welfare of the seven towns. The Meadowlands Museum was created originally in 1961 as the Rutherford Junior Museum. The museum moved in the mid 1970’s to its current location at 91 Crane Ave, one of the oldest Dutch farmhouses in southern Bergen County and soon after becoming the Meadowlands Museum.
